A truly momentous month!

We’ve now been trading for just over a month and it has been a whirlwind of activity at The Bull, now being led by Jess and Dylan front of house and Tommy and Denes, our accomplished chefs out back.  We are so pleased with how the decor, the service and the food have been received and thank you all for your enthusiasm, feedback and support.

The Bull hosts Gourmet Games private event

In line with our desire to support local business ventures, The Bull hosted a very successful event with Clare and Claire of Gourmet Games, showcasing their gin, whisky, wine and chocolate tasting games. These games are a fun way to engage with your guests at your holiday gatherings. Go to http://www.gourmetgames.co.uk to find out more.

We were so pleased to have been a part of their great business launch, and if other local entrepreneurs are searching for a venue to host events such as this, do please get in touch.

A very festive acoustic session in the Grain Store

On Saturday 8th December, we hosted a special festive music performance by the super-talented Rachel Oyawale, former head girl at Woldingham School, turned superstar singer with the English National Opera. Rachel performed in our beautiful Grain Store.

We served mulled wine and hot chocolate with our festive guest ale, Wantsum Brewery’s Figgy Pudding which went down a treat!

We hope to increase our events and activities for 2019, so please let us know if you have any ideas.

Menu development and special festive menus

As well as the Grazing menu, our talented chefs have created a series of delicious set menus to be enjoyed over the festive period.

These include a three-course Festive menu, available to book anytime in the run up to Christmas (£29.95 – over 6 people) and special set lunch menus available on Boxing Day, Christmas Day and New Year’s Day – please see menus and pricing on the dedicated Christmas page of The Bull’s website, http://www.thebulllimpsfield.com/christmas.

Watch this space for our Burns Supper on Friday 25th January available to book online

  1. Hi
Just to say that I had an excellent 3 course festive lunch with my family at the Haycutter for £28.95 today that didn’t require any number to have it, so I don’t understand why the Bull requires more than 6 people to order its festive meal at £29.95? Seems an unnecessary and uncommercial requirement to me.

    1. Hi Martin, thanks so much for taking the time to comment. Glad you had a lovely festive lunch at The Haycutter. As you will know, we are a lot smaller than The Haycutter, which also translates in terms of kitchen and storage, and is the reason for our minimum requirement for set meals…Have a lovely 😊 Christmas.

      1. Hi Sophie,
Thanks for your reply. As one of your investors, I was only trying to ensure that you don’t miss out on business that you would otherwise have, which should still be worthwhile (I.e. £29 for a 3 course meal). I doubt if anyone would choose one venue over another for only £1 difference in the festive lunch and had assumed that you would have a festive lunch offer during this period. I am having my first meal there on Sunday so will be interested to see what’s on offer having heard a few comments from friends.
        Kind regards, Martin
