October update and dates for investor sneak peeks!

It’s been a crazy few weeks, with things moving forward in leaps and bounds at The Bull Inn, Limpsfield. We are so nearly there and as the building work is scheduled to finish in the next week or so, we have scheduled three special evenings for our investors to have a special sneak peek ahead of launch…

Investor sneak peeks

We will shortly be contacting all investors to invite them to an informal look around the new-look Bull Inn and to meet key members of our team.

We see this as part of the team’s training and induction, to test some of our ideas and to get constructive, friendly feedback before opening to the public.

If you are an investor, we’ll be in touch with you about the days and time-slots for your tour!

The big push !

Many of the fixtures and fittings have arrived and the final load of furniture will be in place from 15th October. Our kitchen is now almost completely installed, so we’ve had a security guard and dog installed when the builders are not on-site and before our resident general manager and chef move in next week.

Metz Construction and our project team have outdone themselves to maintain our ambitious programme and we’re just starting to complete the finishing touches and get on with the big clean up! The new bar is in place and it looks amazing! We are in the process of finishing the cellar refurbishment ahead of ordering the wines and beers, chosen by many investors who volunteered for the very popular tasting sessions!

Additional works

As with all builds, things crop up as you go and on discovering far more damage to the decking than we anticipated, we’ve rebuilt it and also taken the opportunity to replace the old heated parasols with two very smart navy blue ones, which are coming from Germany, so we await their arrival with anticipation before it gets too chilly!

Public launch date

We still have a few things to get done and once we’ve had the cellar thumbs-up and all our systems are working, we’ll be able to let you know when we will be opening to the public – still hoping to be early November, so don’t forget your festive bookings!

For bookings and general enquiries, please email us at info@thebullinnlimpsfield.com.  You can also call on landline 01883 713 469 or mobile 07940 885509 – just leave a message if we’re not there.

We’re still setting everything set up, so please bear with us and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible.

New website online

As bookings and enquiries are coming in thick and fast, we’ve just made our new website live.

This is currently just an info holding site, but will be updated to the final version over the next week or so, so that it can link to our online booking and stock control systems. In the meantime do have a peek HERE and hopefully you can share and like on social media too.

For any investor related matters, please continue to use info@enterprisinglimpsfield.com, as the management team are only responsible for normal business operations.

A big thank you

One of the key success factors of community-owned pubs is local ownership with empowered management and staff, so we’d like to say a big thank you to all of those who have been actively involved and so supportive thus far.

Don’t forget we’re still open to new and top-up investors, so do continue to spread the word.

Almost there – just waiting for a pint…See you soon!
